\nWe all deal with our own stuff in our own ways
\nSome take the work stress, some throw it out the window
\nSome worry about the future, some live in the present
\nSome wallow in self-pity, some stride right through the downs.
\nBut we all do fix ourselves the best we can.
\nAnd we all deal with our own stuff in our own ways.<\/p>\n
And not everyone gets past everything.
\nSome turn blue, some quieter
\nsome red, some even seem brighter
\nWe all turn differently from different situations.
\nSome become haters and some lovers.
\nBroken hearts, selfish tones and aggression.<\/p>\n
So anyway, we all deal with our stuff and in our own ways,
\nAnd in doing so, paint onto ourselves a pattern which is unique.
\nThat’s why I am a different person and so are you.
\nLike new paint over a painted canvas, we gather ever more colors
\nturning the bright childhood canvas slowly through tapestries in time,
\ninto a pattern of black and gold – some on the surface, some run deep.<\/p>\n
Yea yea, so we are a product of our experiences, what’s new?
\nWell nothing to be honest, it’s just that to draw this analogy
\nbetween personalities and canvases has interesting implications.
\nIt’s easier to take darker tones as we put more paint.
\nThe brighter tones though, need to be guarded well.
\nFor them to survive till the painting is complete.<\/p>\n
The painting survives as a whole, not the strokes.
\nIt won’t matter to have had good moments and good deeds
\nunless we nurture them and allow them to shine out.
\nThe goodness sure shines out but can easily get lost.
\nDarkness instead, tends to stick easier in this world.
