{"id":487,"date":"2021-01-01T23:38:32","date_gmt":"2021-01-01T18:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/?p=487"},"modified":"2021-05-16T13:48:07","modified_gmt":"2021-05-16T08:18:07","slug":"glow-in-the-dark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/glow-in-the-dark\/","title":{"rendered":"Glow in the dark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><br \/>\nWe all deal with our own stuff in our own ways<br \/>\nSome take the work stress, some throw it out the window<br \/>\nSome worry about the future, some live in the present<br \/>\nSome wallow in self-pity, some stride right through the downs.<br \/>\nBut we all do fix ourselves the best we can.<br \/>\nAnd we all deal with our own stuff in our own ways.<\/p>\n<p>And not everyone gets past everything.<br \/>\nSome turn blue, some quieter<br \/>\nsome red, some even seem brighter<br \/>\nWe all turn differently from different situations.<br \/>\nSome become haters and some lovers.<br \/>\nBroken hearts, selfish tones and aggression.<\/p>\n<p>So anyway, we all deal with our stuff and in our own ways,<br \/>\nAnd in doing so, paint onto ourselves a pattern which is unique.<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s why I am a different person and so are you.<br \/>\nLike new paint over a painted canvas, we gather ever more colors<br \/>\nturning the bright childhood canvas slowly through tapestries in time,<br \/>\ninto a pattern of black and gold &#8211; some on the surface, some run deep.<\/p>\n<p>Yea yea, so we are a product of our experiences, what&#8217;s new?<br \/>\nWell nothing to be honest, it&#8217;s just that to draw this analogy<br \/>\nbetween personalities and canvases has interesting implications.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s easier to take darker tones as we put more paint.<br \/>\nThe brighter tones though, need to be guarded well.<br \/>\nFor them to survive till the painting is complete.<\/p>\n<p>The painting survives as a whole, not the strokes.<br \/>\nIt won&#8217;t matter to have had good moments and good deeds<br \/>\nunless we nurture them and allow them to shine out.<br \/>\nThe goodness sure shines out but can easily get lost.<br \/>\nDarkness instead, tends to stick easier in this world.<br \/>\nGuard your light, for it&#8217;s what will make you shine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_exactmetrics_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[14],"tags":[33,15],"class_list":["post-487","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-poems","tag-philosophy","tag-poems"],"post_mailing_queue_ids":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/487","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=487"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/487\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":516,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/487\/revisions\/516"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=487"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=487"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.morsemind.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=487"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
